Victoria De Angelis, a talented bass magician and star of the mega-popular band Måneskin and one of today’s most intriguing stage presences, is coming to the Sea Star Festival! As part of her first-ever DJ tour, rebellious Victoria will enchant the audience in Umag with an irresistible and hot techno DJ set. Victoria successfully connected the groove of her bass with club techno sounds, finding her new spotlight on the electro scenes of Milan and Berlin. A femme icon of sex appeal, freedom and fluidity has won fans worldwide with her musical talent and provocative stage performance and now she will showcase her skills behind the DJ booth in Croatia.
Victoria joins the already announced festival headliners who will arrive to the Stella Maris lagoon in Umag from May 23rd to May 26th – the hitmaking French DJ duo Ofenbach, global superstar John Newman (Hybrid DJ set), British party maker Hot Since 82, authentic and uncompromising INIKO, Italian techno queen Deborah De Luca, tech-house giants ARTBAT, DJ booth expert Ian Asher, and regional concert sensations, the bands Joker Out and Buč Kesidi.
Through her thirst for freedom and rebellion, Victoria found music. Even during her school days, the young rebel used music as an excuse to escape from class, and during her teenage years, she played in several rock bands. In her early and formative years, she skated and played bass, perfecting new rock riffs and regularly attending parties. Although music was initially her passion and expression of youthful rebellion, it has now become her main profession and full-time job. After the great success of the band Måneskin, which conquered major world stages and millions of fans worldwide after Eurovision 2021, Victoria launched her solo career behind the DJ booth.
She found her main inspiration in the ‘90s music, evolving from lively techno to baile funk. Victoria successfully combines these influences with the boldness, attitude and aesthetics of the 2000s, or the Y2K sensibility, creating a fusion of sound and atmosphere that spills into a sweaty and hyper-energetic club experience.
Victoria started her first DJ tour on March 16th in the United Kingdom at The Warehouse club in Leeds. The tour continues in America where she will visit cities like Miami, Chicago, and Brooklyn. The show will continue at the end of March and in April in Turkey, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, North Macedonia, Romania, Belgium, and other European countries, with the penultimate date of the tour hitting the magical Stella Maris lagoon in Umag, where her furious set will throw everyone into an electro dance trance.
The provocative Victoria joins the bombastic lineup of the sixth edition of the Sea Star Festival, which will take place from May 23rd to May 26th. Ofenbach, John Newman (Hybrid DJ Set), INIKO, Hot Since 82, ARTBAT, Deborah De Luca, Ian Asher, Joker Out and Buč Kesidi will shine on stage. In addition to the announced headliners, the festival’s lineup is enriched by the trap gang consisting of Senidah, Devito, Grše, Kuku$, Rouzi, Tam & Jymenik, Zevin and Thicc Boi. As before, the two main days of the festival will be Friday, May 24th and Saturday, May 25th, while Thursday and Sunday will be reserved for the Welcome Day and After Party.
