Global pop superstar, reigning queen of charts worldwide and the only woman to win Eurovision twice, Loreen has been announced as the first headliner of the 7th edition of Sea Star! The chart-topping icon will debut her spectacular, emotionally charged performance in Umag, highlighting her status as one of the most sought-after live performers of today.
Joining her are three trailblazing names reshaping electronic music and elevating it to the level of stadium rock concerts: techno/trance diva Indira Paganotto, the masked techno hero I Hate Models and Berlin’s most exciting underground name Patrick Mason. With these first exclusive announcements, EXIT’s Umag-based festival is shaping up to be one of its strongest editions yet, positioning itself as one of the Adriatic coast’s most significant music gatherings for summer 2025.
The 7th edition of Sea Star will take place from May 22 to May 25, 2025, in the Stella Maris Lagoon in Umag, with more news and artist announcements coming soon. Tickets are already on sale, with current prices available until the end of Monday, December 23.
Loreen, the only woman in history to win Eurovision twice, is heading to Umag’s lagoon! Following acts like Konstrakta and Baby Lasagna, the iconic Swedish artist is set to dominate the Sea Star stage. Known as one of the world’s leading global pop superstars, Loreen has topped major global charts for over a decade. Her mega-hits like “Euphoria”, “Tattoo” and the recent “Forever” have surpassed an incredible two billion streams on digital platforms, while fans have dubbed her emotive music as spiritual pop. Her most significant asset, however, is her spectacular, hypnotic and artistically charged live performances, which will shine in full glory on Sea Star’s main Tesla Stage on Saturday, May 24.
Joining this year’s lineup is psytechno diva Indira Paganotto, who made regional clubbing history as the fastest-selling act in the main hangar of Belgrade’s No Sleep Festival! As the leader of the ARTCORE movement, she has taken the world’s biggest festival stages by storm, from Coachella and Tomorrowland to Sónar and EXIT, where she will close the mts Dance Arena with a final b2b performance alongside Sara Laundry in July 2025.
Audiences will also be captivated by I Hate Models, the bold techno star of the new generation. His uncompromising style blends emotion with innovation, reshaping the boundaries of traditional club music. Known for his steadfast approach, I Hate Models has captivated audiences worldwide with remixes like Depeche Mode’s “Cover Me” and his remix of “Toro”, which amassed millions of streams on Spotify.
Berlin’s Patrick Mason, a rising star from the city’s vibrant underground scene, will also grace the stage. Mason, who honed his craft on the legendary Berghain dance floor, is redefining house and techno with his futuristic style and hybrid DJ sets that have enthralled clubbers worldwide. The magnificent trio of Paganotto, I Hate Models, and Mason will take over Sea Star’s main stage on Friday, May 23.
Also announced are the first names for the beloved Electric Waves stage: Antonio Žuža, Elena Mikac, Laseech, Marcel and Mimi.
The 7th edition of the festival will take place from May 22 to May 25, 2025, across several iconic and new stages in Umag’s Stella Maris Lagoon. As in previous years, the two main festival days will be Friday, May 23 and Saturday, May 24, while Thursday and Sunday are reserved for the Welcome Day and After Party. But these are not the only updates about the festival—exciting expansions are planned, with more details to be revealed soon.
A limited batch of early bird tickets is available at a promotional price of €39 here. The number of tickets is highly limited and will remain available until the end of Monday, December 23, or while supplies last.
