After announcing Prodigy as its first headliner, Sea Star unveils a rising star whose energy will kick off the new festival and tour season next May. The queen of the psytechno genre and one of the biggest new names on the global electronic scene – Indira Paganotto – is coming to the fifth edition of the Umag festival in the Stella Maris lagoon! She is now the one confidently walking the path to the throne of global techno, charted by Nina Kraviz and Amelie Lens, whose performances have already made the Sea Star audience go wild! The music created and performed by this incredible DJ and producer delights audiences all over the world, and on 19th and 20th May, 2023, she will present her powerful set for the first time in Umag.

Hailing from Spain, Indira Paganotto has been one of the most exciting new names on the global techno scene for a few seasons, winning over audiences worldwide with her energetic performances. Behind her is a decade of working and improving her talent in the studio, as well as behind the DJ decks, and in the last few years, she has received much support from the leading names in the genre – she published her EP “Himalaya” for KNTXT, the label of the Belgian DJ and producer Charlotte de Witte, and Nina Kraviz couldn’t resist including her previously unreleased tracks in her DJ sets either.
Authentic and different, at 30 years old, Indira Paganotto has already graced the world’s biggest festival stages, such as Tomorrowland and Awakenings, and she has also performed in cult clubs like Printworks in London and Amnesia in Ibiza. She also began a special relationship with the EXIT festival family. This year she performed at the EXIT festival for the first time and brought the No Sleep Novi Sad stage programme to a close, while many are still reeling from her masterful closing set at this year’s No Sleep festival in Belgrade. She brings her unique combination of techno and psytrance to the Umag Sea Star Festival, where the magical Stella Maris lagoon will shine with her powerful energy and sound that reliably tests the stamina of any audience.
As a reminder, the incredible The Prodigy were announced last week as headliners of the fifth edition of the Sea Star Festival, making Umag one of the stops on the most sought-after world tour in 2023. For The Prodigy, this will be a return to the Stella Maris lagoon since, in 2017, they caused an absolute frenzy at the first edition of this festival and launched Sea Star on its path to becoming one of the leading festivals of the Mediterranean. They are now joined by Indira Paganotto, the leading headliner in global electronic music, for whom this will be a premiere performance in Umag. With these two international superstar acts, Sea Star Festival once again becomes an unmissable festival destination.
