The French DJ duo Ofenbach are heading to the enchanting Stella Maris lagoon in Umag. Dorian and César have stacked their catalog with global hits like “Be Mine,” “Katchi,” and “Hurricane,” amassing several billion streams. Their latest chart-topper, “Overdrive,” has been the hottest track in Croatia for months! Sea Star’s audience will get the exclusive chance to experience these and other hits live from May 23 to 26 at the sixth installment of the Umag festival!
Ofenbach joins the lineup of headliners previously announced for the Tesla Main Stage at the Stella Maris lagoon: John Newman, Ian Asher, INIKO, ARTBAT, Hot Since 82, Deborah De Luca, Buč Kesidi, and Joker Out.
Early bird tickets to catch Ofenbach alongside other Sea Star headliners are on sale at a promotional price of €44, offering a whopping 40% discount off the final price. This offer stands until March 5 at the latest or until stocks are sold out.
DJ sensation Ofenbach comprises a seasoned duo: César Laurent de Rummel and Dorian Lauduique. Starting their first rock band at 13, inspired by legends like The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin, they decided to pivot musically in 2014. Adopting the name Ofenbach, in homage to the French composer Jacques Offenbach, they launched their stellar DJ career. By 2016, their track “Be Mine” hit the Billboard and numerous other global charts. Quickly earning support from DJ titans Robin Schulz and Tiësto, they also performed at the UEFA Europe League Final opening ceremony in Lyon in 2018.
With hits amassing over three billion streams, such as “Wasted Love,“ “Head Shoulders Knees & Toes,“ “Be Mine,“ “Katchi,“ and Hurricane,“ Ofenbach stands as the most streamed French group globally. They’ve compiled these chart-busting tracks into their debut LP, ”I, “ released in 2022. Closing last year with a bang, they dropped the new single “Overdrive,“ a second successful collaboration with the renowned American singer-songwriter Norma Jean Martine following the hit single “Head Shoulders Knees & Toes.” “Overdrive” is built on a sample from the 80s hit “Cambodia” by Kim Wilde, showcasing Ofenbach’s knack for blending house, dance, and pop into irresistible dance anthems. In May, this superstar DJ duo will set the Stella Maris lagoon’s dance floor ablaze.
Alongside Ofenbach, the second wave of headliners announced last week for the second day on the festival’s main stage includes John Newman and Ian Asher. Lighting up the Main Stage on the festival’s first day will be INIKO, ARTBAT, Hot Since 82, Deborah De Luca, Joker Out, and Buč Kesidi.
The festival’s sixth edition will take place from May 23 to 26, 2024, across numerous well-established and new stages within the Stella Maris lagoon in Umag. As in previous years, the main festival days will be Friday, May 24, and Saturday, May 25, with Thursday and Sunday reserved for the Welcome Day and After Party.
