The Lagoon is about to boil! Special back-to-back techno sets at the Sea Star Festival stadium!

The fifth edition of Sea Star will reaffirm the status of the “techno paradise” that Umag’s Stella Maris lagoon proudly carries as a powerful wave of reinforcements and special performances arrive, concluding the festival’s electronic music line-up. The previously announced global superstar Indira Paganotto is joined by three fantastic b2b combos, which will bring their furious techno to the ATP Stadium in the lagoon!

The Nautilus Arena will host the leading Ukrainian DJing wizards Daria Kolosova and Etapp Kyle, regional pioneers Marko Nastić and Dejan Miličević, and leading local techno acts DJ Jock and Shipe. Along with these names 12 new artists are announced who will perform on the fan-favorite Electric Waves stage, headlined by Ilija Rudman and Ian F. Together with electro-punk giants The Prodigy, hitmakers Robin Schulz and Mahmut Orhan, as well as Senidah, Hiljson Mandela, Krankšvester and a mighty regional trap line-up, the second-highest-attended Croatian festival will officially open the new festival and summer season on the 19th and 20th of May. Discounted tickets at €45 will be available until end-of-day Friday, 10th March at the latest.

With over ten years of experience, DJ and producer Daria Kolosova quickly became a leading name in the Ukrainian underground techno scene. She started her ascent towards the world’s DJ decks with the support of the well-respected DJ Nastia through b2b sets and releases for her label NECHTO. So far, she has performed at clubbing powerhouses, such as Berghain, Bassiani, Fabric, Awakenings Festival, and Amnesia, while her DJ set for HÖR Berlin has more than 2.5 million views on YouTube. This will be her first performance in Umag, and Etapp Kyle will join her at the decks for a b2b set. Dedicated to perfecting his DJing virtuosity, he soon became one of the most notable names of the Ukrainian underground scene, and a chance meeting with Ben Klock during a trip to Berlin resulted in his later releases for the Klockworks label and established him as one of the fastest growing techno names of the new generation. This reputation was further cemented after he joined Ostgut Booking, released an EP for Unterton, and contributed to the compilation “Ostgut Ton | Zehn,” celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Ostgut Ton label.

Electronic music, along with trap/hip hop and commercial dance, is one of the fundamental genres forming the basis of Sea Star’s program. In its previous four editions, the Umag festival hosted big stars such as Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, Paul Kalkbrenner, and Sven Vath, and the tradition of partying by the sea until the early morning hours will continue this May when the leaders of a new techno generation, who have conquered the world’s largest festivals like Exit, Awakenings, and Melt, and clubs such as Berghain, Amnesia, and Fabric in seasons past, arrive at Stella Maris. Indira Paganotto, Daria Kolosova, and Etapp Kyle will have powerful regional and local support in the form of special b2b sets. The line-up includes one of the most active members of the local scene Dejan Miličević, our celebrated and award-winning artist DJ Jock, resident of Zagreb’s Boogaloo Shipe, and Marko Nastić, one of the most prominent electronic music artists in our region, celebrating 25 years on the scene!

Along with them, the complete line-up of the festival’s favorite Electric Waves stage has been confirmed, consisting of Ilija Rudman, Ian F, Teo, Kali, Korak, Marin Biočić, Bronski, Marcel, Laseech, Innaca, Grenko and Ivan Erjavac. This wave of reinforcement rounds off the electronic music program of the event, where the new festival and tourist season will begin on the 19th and 20th of May in the magical surroundings of Umag’s Stella Maris lagoon.
